As fun as Christmas is, It is always such a busy season for us. For those who know us, we have tons of family between the two of us. We spread ourselves quite thin on holidays. This year was no different but it always work out so perfect. We were able to split our time between 3 families and still enjoy every minute of it. We started out Christmas eve day at my dads house, then Christmas eve dinner at my moms and then karaoke and Christmas Bingo at the Ences, then back to my moms to sleep for the night. Then Christmas morning we opened presents and had a big breakfast at my moms, a few fun hours at the Ences and then the afternoon at my dads. Is your head spinning yet? I am so grateful for all my family that I get to share the holiday with. We had such a great Christmas.

SO MANY PEOPLE THERE WERE NOT PICTURED AND I AM SO SAD ABOUT THAT!

SKYLER TURNED THE BIG 24 ON DECEMBER 23RD. ME AND HIM HAD A REALLY FUN DAY CONSISTING OF A HALF DAY OF WORK FOR BOTH OF US AND JUST A NICE RELAXING AFTERNOON. LATER THAT NIGHT ME AND SKY WENT TO DINNER AT APPLEBEES AND CAME HOME TO AN APARTMENT FULL OF PEOPLE FOR A SURPRISE PARTY. IT WAS SO FUN BECAUSE SKY HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE PARTY. HE THOUGHT WE WERE HEADED TO A MOVIE AFTER DINNER BUT I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T FEEL VERY WELL AND NEEDED TO GO HOME AND GET SOME MEDICINE FIRST. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR HELPING ME WITH THAT LAST MINUTE LITTLE PARTY. LATER THAT NIGHT WE GOT TO STAY AT THE HILTON HOTEL HERE IN ST. GEORGE. SKYLER WON A WARD GOLF TOURNAMENT AND HE WON A FREE ROOM THAT HAD TO BE USED BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. WHATS BETTER TIME TO USE IT THAN ON HIS BIRTHDAY? IT WAS A GORGEOUS HOTEL AND WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! HIS BIRTHDAY WAS A SUCCESS. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND GLAD I GET TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY WITH HIM FOR ETERNITY.

This last weekend our good friends, Jaden and Courtney, threw an Ugly sweater party. We had just a small get together because to be honest that is all our little apartments can hold. It was a blast. Lots of good food, Crazy Sweaters, Parted Hair, White elephant gifts and a really fun night with friends.

TURKEY BOWL!

Every Thanksgiving, Skyler and all his closest buddies get together to play their annual Turkey Bowl football game. Skylers team name is the Swash Bucklers and they play the Punk Haters. Punk Haters have won all 5 years that this turkey bowl has been going on. I know they can win it eventually. This game gets ridiculously serious, Lines painted on the field, Jerseys, Rules, Arguments. As long as they all stay friends afterwards then I call it successful. Next year its SwashBucklers all the way!

Thanksgiving weekend!

We had a really fun thanksgiving weekend. We ate SO much turkey and too much food. We do have 3 sets of parents and instead of Splitting years we just have 3 thanksgivings. We had my dads on Tuesday, Skylers family Thursday Afternoon and my moms Thursday evening. We spent the whole week with family and it was nice to just catch up with all of them.

My nieces helped me Decorate the tree. They put all my decorations on the bottom foot of the tree. Although I had to go back and fix it, They did a great job.

We got to play with my cute Nephew Drake all week. He gets so much attention because he is so dang cute. We fight over him!

Provo

This weekend we took a quick trip to Provo. We have not been up there in a while and to be honest I was kind of missing it so we headed up Friday after work.

Went to the BYU game, it was freezing but so fun.

This is one of my good friends Zander, He just got home off his mission so we went up for his homecoming in Orem. I forgot to take pictures there so this is a picture from a few months ago when he had to come home for knee surgery. I am glad he is home and so proud of him.

This is Sky and Blair playing the wii racing game. This is probably not funny to anyone unless you were there. Let me just remind anyone who has never played, you only have to move your arms. Blair thinks it helps by actually running.

My brother, at Jared Madsen Photography has mainly been doing weddings the last couple of years, but is now anxious to begin adding family sessions to his schedule!!
